Upgrading from Release 2.x to 3.5

Upgrade RiverMaster

Before beginning the upgrade, be sure all services on the APS are running
properly. Use the ping command to test communications with the APS and
ANG from the RiverMaster system.

Choose Option 2 (VPN Configuration and Installation Check).
The following message will appear:
1. The IPSec Listener is running
2. A public default gateway of 192.168.2.1 exists
3. The Gated routing daemon is up and running
4. No errors were found in the TMS or IKE logs
5. The Authentication IP Address 192.168.1.53 responds via ping
6. Your VPN name is ENTERAVPN
There were no configuration problems found !

Close the Telnet connection by typing bye.
You are now ready to connect the servers to the customer's network.
Any remaining configuration must be performed using RiverMaster.

Optional. Save existing Riverpilot / Aurorean Client kits on the
RiverMaster PC. Using Windows Explorer, find the following
directory: C:\Program Files\Indus River Networks\
Rivermaster\Riverpilot_Packages

Highlight the client kits you would like to keep and right click on them
to copy and paste them into another directory or network drive.
Be aware this directory is deleted when you remove RiverMaster.

Be sure to close RiverMaster before upgrading the software.
