4.2 MIB SUPPORT

This section lists the SNMP MIBs supported by SmartSTACK ELS10-27.
These MIBs allow the user to conÞgure virtually all features and
functions of the product. These MIBs also allow this device to be
managed by an SNMP management application.

4.3 RMON SUPPORT

SmartSTACK Ethernet ELS10-27 has the ability to support four of the nine
RMON MIB groups. The four groups are Ethernet Statistics, History,
Alarms, and Events. RMON is supported on all ports at all times.
¥ Ethernet Statistics:
¥ The History Group: The History Group consists of two sub groups.
¥ The History Control Group
The History Control Group controls the periodic statistical
sampling of data from the system. This group stores
conÞguration entries that each deÞne, an interface, a polling
period, and needed control parameters.
¥ The Ethernet History Group
The Ethernet History Group records periodic statistical
samples from the system and stores them for later retrieval.
