If the enable command is typed without any parameters, the following is
displayed. It does not enable any of the ports.
ELS10-27> enable
Usage: enable [PORT-RANGE [RIP] [TransmitPacing]]
Port 1: Enabled, port w/o link
Port 2: Enabled, port w/o link
Port 3: Enabled
Port 4: Enabled, port w/o link
Port 5: Enabled, port w/o link
Port 6: Enabled, port w/o link
Port 7: Enabled
Port 8: Enabled
Port 9: Enabled, port w/o link
Port 10: Enabled
Port 11: Enabled
Port 12: Enabled
Type <CR> to continue the display... >
To enable a port or group of ports, the command is followed by the
port(s) and any options desired. The following is displayed:
ELS10-27> enable 2-4
Enabling port 2
Enabling port 3
Enabling port 4
By default all ports are enabled.
