Introduction
IPMRouter
You can enter the following command to specify the ports to be included
in all IP Multicast Þlters. These are expected IGMP Router ports that
would be sending IGMP Queries. The command is also used to add non-
IGMP capable ports so that they would also be included in all the Þlters.
Once you statically conÞgure the IP Multicast Router ports, any queries
that are heard from the network are merged into the router port list.
ELS10-27> ipmrouter {add | delete} PORT-RANGE
If you re-enter the command with a different PORT-RANGE, the
databases are ßushed and all Þlters are re-learned.
ELS10-27> ipmrouter add PORT-RANGE
To delete some or all of the routers included in all Þlters, you enter:
ELS10-27> ipmrouter delete PORT-RANGE
All the Dynamic database entries are ßushed and all the Þlters re-learned.
The command by itself displays the existing list of ports.
ELS10-27>ipmrouter
IP Multicast Routing ports - 1, 5, 6, 9, 23-27
Ipmulticast
Use the following command to create an IP Multicast group:
ELS10-27> ipmulticast [{add | del[ete] IPMADDR PORT-RANGE IPMADDR}]
Create an IP multicast group by entering the IP Group Address along
with a list of ports. Enter the following command to statically conÞgure
an IP Multicast group. Once a group is conÞgured, any information the
Þrmware has learned dynamically, will not alter the static conÞguration.
Re-enter the command to add to, or change the list of ports in the group.
ELS10-27> ipmulticast add PORT-RANGE IPMADDR
Enter the following command to delete an IP Multicast group:
ELS10-27> ipmulticast del[ete] IPMADDR
1-40
