Query
Use the following command to enable or disable the device to act as a
querier. In an 802.1D Workgroup environment, you may specify the name
of the workgroup on which to initiate IGMP Queries.
ELS10-27>Query [on | off] [wgname]
To enable a querier on a workgroup named blue, the following command
is issued:
ELS10-27>Query on blue
To display the state of IGMP Querying on the device or to list the
segments that we are sending Queries on, you can enter:
ELS10-27> Query
IGMP Query on Default Group
IGMP Query on Blue
IGMP Query on Accounting
The factory default for the system to initiate IGMP Query packets is off.
If you change the state, the databases are ßushed and all the Þlters re-
learned.
Mirror
The mirror command has two forms. One allows you to mirror all
inbound and outbound trafÞc from one port to another. The second
allows all packets with speciÞc destination MAC addresses to be
mirrored to a particular port. Up to four destination MAC addresses may
be mirrored simultaneously.
