Introduction

Trap control

Trap control gives you the ability to allow all traps or to disallow all traps.
SNMP MIB variables are available to disable a particular trap, or all traps
of a particular severity. The default for trap control is ÒdisabledÓ.
Telnet
Telnet support allows you to telnet to the device and gain access to LCM.
The device allows 4 sessions. Passwords for telnet are the RO and RW
community names for the device and allow the corresponding level of
access. You are not allowed to modify passwords via a Telnet session. If
an IP address is added or modiÞed using Telnet, the new address will not
take affect until the next reboot.
