Either of these commands logs you out of LCM.
Erase
The erase command allows you to erase all of the conÞguration material
and restore the factory defaults to the unit. As a safety mechanism you are
prompted to conÞrm the command. The entire word ÔyesÕ must be typed.
By entering the erase command, the following is displayed.
ELS10-27>erase
This erases all conÞguration information and return the unit to factory
defaults on the next system reset.
Continue? [yes | {no | CR} ]
If anything other than ÔyesÕ is entered the command will be canceled.
Reboot
The reboot command allows you to force a system reboot either
immediately or to schedule it for some later time. In the event that it was
scheduled, the user can prevent the system from rebooting by entering
the reboot command with the optional parameter ÔoffÕ. Additionally,
several optional parameters can be used.
The ÔdownloadÕ parameter speciÞes not only for the system to reboot, but
to also obtain a new code image from the network. In the event that a
download is desired, you can specify the necessary parameters or can use
parameters obtained via the BootP process. The parameters are the path
and Þle name to be used on the TFTP server, the IP Address of the server
and a gateway IP Address in the event that the server is not directly
accessible.
