USING LANVIEW LEDS
The ESXMIM uses the Cabletron Systems built-in visual diagnostic and
status monitoring system called LANVIEW. With LANVIEW, you can
quickly scan the ESXMIM LEDs to observe network status or diagnose
network problems.

If the LED is not lit, the
ESXMIM may not be
receiving power. See the
Troubleshooting Checklist.
Press the reset switch on the
ESXMIM front panel to
re-initialize the board. This
may clear the error. If the
board does not re-initialize, it
has probably failed. Call
Cabletron Systems Technical
Support.
Port 1 defaults to Channel A.
If this LED remains off after
setting Port 1 to access the
faceplate RJ45 or fiber port,
contact Cabletron Systems
Technical Support.
