Function description
ERROR state
If a major error occurs in an operating state, PSENvip automatically switches to ERROR
state (see chapter entitled "Diagnostics and troubleshooting" in the PSENvip operating
manual). After a major error, PSENvip is automatically restarted (reboot). The reboot is car-
ried out up to 3 times. If the error is still present afterwards, PSENvip remains switched off.
The error is displayed via the web interface (if possible) and is reported to the diagnostics
on the safety controller.

A major error on the safety controller PSS 4000 will cause the safety controller to exit the
operating state "Device in RUN state without error" (see description of the operating
states in the PSS 4000 System Description).

Errors on the special module PSSu K F FAU are handled on the safety controller (see op-
erating manual PSSu K F FAU B, PSSu K F FAU P).
No requests will be processed in ERROR state.
