If an error occurs during resetting, please refer to the following table that illustrates the most
common errors and their possible solutions.
Error message
The bore is not deep enough of
too big.
Inspect the hole. Error
code:55550004
Switch to TEACH mode.
Again, execute zeroing.
"Keep servo on state in teach
mode between under zeroing
execution."
Again, execute zeroing.

[The maximum measurement
point were exceeded.]

Error and solutions during resetting

Possible error
Sensor captures wrong bore
depth.
The mode switch on the pro-
gramming pendant is in the
"Play Mode" position when
starting the reset.
The SERVO power is not
turned ON at the start of the ze-
roing operation.
Error in the zeroing processing. Possible cause: False parameter

Possible solution
• Check if dust or spilled liquids
penetrated in the bore.
• Check the exterior of the sensor
for damages or cracks as well
as the end of the sensor for de-
formations.
• Carry out a new reset.
Switch the mode switch onto
TEACH and carry out the reset.
Turn ON the SERVO power by
pressing the enable switch of the
programming pendant.
