The contacts of the function block are connected to the device outputs and a
marker.

Avoid unforeseeable switch states:
• Only use each function block coil once in the circuit diagram.
• If you use one of the inputs I1, I2, I3 or I4 as a counter input
for the counter function block CF, CH or CI, they cannot be
used for other purposes.
If an input I1...I4 is used several times, only the high-speed
counter is run that is positioned last in the order of
processing in the function block diagram
Parametric programming of the function block inputs/outputs
When using the function block in the circuit diagram for the first time, use
OK to automatically enter the general display of function block parameters,
as shown in the figure on the left. Enter the function block settings here.
The display contains the following elements:
Function block: High-speed Incremental value counter, number 01
CI01
Parameter set can be called via the PARAMETERS menu

Upper setpoint: -2147483648 - 2147483647

Lower setpoint: -2147483648 - 2147483647

Start value (Preset): -2147483648 - 2147483647

Current actual value: -2147483648 - 2147483647

Inputs
SH and SL: The upper and lower limit setpoints are set at function block
inputs SH and SL respectively.
SV: The start value is used to cause the function block to count from a
specified value (Offset).
You can assign the following operands to function block inputs SH,
SL and SV:
• Constant.
• Markers MD, MW, MB.
• Analog inputs IA01 to IA04:
• IA01: Terminal I7.
• IA02: Terminal I8.
• IA03: Terminal I11.
• IA04: Terminal I12.
• Analog output QA01.
• Output QV of a different function block.
