Notes on SO2 measurement
Please note the following with regard to the high absorption of SO
1. Only use the special, patented hose between probe and analyser
(only for short-term measurements up to 10 minutes, afterwards
place dry filters in the condensate trap).
2. It is recommended to use the compact gas drier instead of the
condensate trap for highly accurate measurements or long-term
measurements lasting up to several hours.
3. Since flue gases containing SO
of an outer pipe with filter is also recommended in order to prevent
deposits in the hose.
4. High NO
levels (>10 ppm) in flue gas influence SO
2
(-110% cross-sensitivity that means add 110% NO
SO
display).

Using the NO or SO
Only use NO module or SO
Procedure:
1. Measurement with NO cell
2. Switch off instrument and replace NO module with SO
