Condensate trap

An independent condensate trap with 2 particle filters is integrated
in the connection tube. Pull off one of the end pieces to let out the
condensate.
Note on changing filter
1. If dirt can be seen on the output filter the inlet filter will have to be
changed.
2. Filters must be changed if the pump power becomes (audibly) lower.
In most cases it is sufficient to change the input filter.
Pull off the filter tube in order to change the filter material. Screw the
drawing key into the filter and remove it from the filter tube. Press the
new filter into the filter tube firmly. You can order spare material for the
filter with the Part no. 0554.3371. Please only use this filter.
The condensate trap can only be emptied if the pump is switched
off.
The condensate trap is designed in such a way that there is a
certain flow direction. This is marked with arrows on the
housing section. If gas flows in the opposite direction the
condensate trap cannot function properly and this could lead
to the instrument breaking down.
When assembling the condensate trap, ensure that the seal rings
are not damaged and that the filter tubules (A) do not get mixed
up.

Flue gas probe

Cleaning the flue gas probe
If there is a large amount of dust in the flue gas the gas path sections
in front of the pipe filter can become clogged or alloyed.
Cleaning the flue gas probe
if the gas paths become clogged
Remove the probe pipe and place in hot water. Blow air through pipe or
clean with a round brush (e.g. made of brass).
Changing a defective thermocouple
Pull out the bending protection spring from the guide at the back outlet
with a counterclockwise movement and pull out the tube to the left. Pull
out the thermocouple on the tube.
Only remove the thermocouple if it is defect. The thermocouple
can be damaged when pulled out of the connection tube.
Remove the bending protection spring and take the cable out of the slit
tube.
When inserting the new thermocouple do not press on the
thermocouple lead. Press it into place with the help of a small
screwdriver.
