Cause / Remedy
1. Temperature probe not connected.
2. Temperature probe is not connected correctly.
Flue gas temperature and its calculated values are not
measured, the remaining values are listed. Check the
temperature probe connection or insert new
temperature probe.
The temperature probe for separate ambient air
temperature measurement is faulty or not available. The
last measured value is frozen. See page 12.
Admissible operating temperature is exceeded.
The ambient air changes to non-permissible values.
Adapt ambient air temperature.
Measurement of the zero point is not stable.
Cause: O
cell was changed but the specified time of
2
60 min. for the cell to adapt was not adhered to.
Switch off analyser and wait for adaptation.
O
cell is used up. Change measuring cell.
2
Measurement of the zero point is not stable. Let the
initialising phase run several times.
There is still flue gas in the analyser or very high
concentrations were measured or the initialising phase
is taking longer.
Cause: Insufficient air was rinsed through following the
last measurement or the probe is in the flue gas.
Probe should be brought into contact with fresh air. If
there is still no change after several runs of the
initialising mode the cell must be defect or the cell is
used up.
The analyser power supply is too low. If the battery
voltage drops below 4.4 volt there is automatic switch-
off. Recharge battery or connect to mains.
Measured value is greater than saved cutoff threshold.
Remove the flue gas probe from the flue gas pipe and
rinse the measuring cells with fresh air. Continue with
the measurement only if it is really necessary.
Measured cells may be damaged or destroyed!

continued.
Measured values >500 ppm CO were measured when
the ambient CO probe was used.
Danger of poisoning.
Message disappears once the values measured fall
below <200 ppm CO.
