Flue gas probe with coarse filter/compact gas preparation

After the measurement:
- Only applies to standard probe:
Clean the condensate and deposits from the inside probe pipe
(remove outside pipe by opening the bayonet catch).
Cleaning the flue gas probe
If there are higher levels of dust in the flue gas, sections of the gas
path before the filter may become clogged.
Cleaning the flue gas probe when the gas path is clogged
Remove the probe pipe and place or move around in hot water. Blow
air through pipe or clean with a round brush (e.g. made of brass).
- Check the coarse and fine filter (See "Changing filters"
section)
- Empty the condensate in a gas preparation unit with manual
emptying.
Changing filters
a. The fine filter in the compact gas preparation unit should be
changed:
- if dirt is visible (it is not possible to clean the filter)
- if the pump power in the analyser decreases. If the pump
power is too low an error message "PM?" appears.
b. Coarse filter at the tip of the probe
The surface filter can be easily cleaned. If the dirt level is low the dirt
particles can be blown out with compressed air. An ultrasound bath
or false teeth cleaner should be used for a more complete cleaning
job. The filter must be replaced if incrustation or damage has
occurred.
Changing a defect thermocouple
Remove the bending protection spring from the guide in the back outlet
by twisting to the left and pull out the hose cable.
The thermocouple should only be removed if it is defect. The
thermocouple may be damaged if pulled out by its connection
cable.
Remove the bending protection spring and take the cable out of the slit
hose.
Do not press on the thermocouple cable when putting the new
thermocouple in place. Using a small
screwdriver press the thermocouple into place.
