Operation of the testo 300-I is organised such that you can always recognise the button functions in the display.
The keyboard
The function buttons enable you to quickly change instrument functions and to completely control the
measurement. The function behind the function buttons are shown in the function toolbar. Not all of the function
buttons in every menu have been assigned. Arrows (

These additional functions are displayed by pressing the left arrow button
and are activated via the function buttons.

The display
All of the important information is shown constantly in the display.
In the measurement menu 4 measured values per window are shown in the measured value/menu display
range. When the zoom function is used (via function button) only two measured values are shown but in a
larger font.
The function toolbar describes the various function buttons. The assignment changes according to the menu.
The description of the function buttons in the display changes accordingly.

) left and right above the function toolbar indicate that there are additional functions in the
menu.
The operation display describes, with the help of graphics, the current analyser mode, e.g. indicates in which
menu you are, whether the analyser pump is operating and whether the instrument is mains operated. The
symbols are as follows:

Memory menu
Pump is operating
You can always see which memory place has been selected and which is active in the memory display box.
The number of measurements already saved under this memory place name is shown along with a serial
number. If a memory place has not been selected "Noname" appears in the display.
Error messages appear in the status display on the left. The measured value window in which you are located
is indicated on the right side of the measurement menu e.g. 2/5 means that you are on page 2 out of a
possible 5.
