For parallel measurement of the CO level in ambient air during a flue
gas measurement.
Note
Parallel or subsequent measurement of AT is not possible.
The probe should be connected before testo 300 XL is switched on.
The protective cap should be closed during the initialisation phase
A smoker´s breath influences the measurement by approx. 5 ppm.
The CO probe is initialised together with the gas measuring cells
in the testo 300 XL-I analyser.
a. Open protective cap.
b. Hang probe, for example, in your shirt pocket.
The direction in which the gases flow onto the probe influences the
accuracy of the measurement. Optimum measured results are attained
by gently moving the probe back and forth. If the gases flow head-on
onto the sensor the values measured will be too high.
Measuring flue gas (START). The ambient CO value (in ppm only) is
measured parallel to the flue gas values. The ambient CO value is also
saved when the measured values are saved.
