1 Preface
The main features of the 1C63 Triton Low Profile carbon fibre foot are the lightweight design and
the unique interconnected functional elements which allow amputees with mobility grade 3 or 4 to
walk easily in everyday life situations including participation in high energy activities.
The 1C63 is designed for use in modular prostheses for patients with different amputation levels.
The combination of spring elements offers the following functional advantages:
• Comfortable heel strike with noticeable plantar flexion.
• Smooth movement of the ankle during mid-stance phase for the natural rollover of the foot.
• Dynamic transition from the stance to swing phase.
• Controlled forefoot response and energy return.
• Compensation for uneven terrain.
• To be used in case of low clearance because of low structural height.
The foot is designed to be used with the footshell. The foam connection cap provides effective
connection between the foot and the cosmetic foam cover.
