10.3. Setting up the instrument (example)
It is an additional example for Chapter 7. Setting-up. It
helps to understand the setting of values through a practical
example. The steps of the whole setting you will find in
Chapter 7..
The task is: temeperature measurement with Pt100 sensor
with 4 wire connection.
A DT4120 xx xx (PS) has an analog output option, output
level 4-20 mA, scaleing: 0 °C ÷ 4 mA, 100 °C ÷ 20 mA.
Limit 1 is active when T > 90 °C, hysteresis: ±0.1 °C.
Leading zeroe's are disabled.
The DT4120 xx xx (PS) parameter settings:
Here are listed only those steps what are differ from Factory
default:
•
06.NUL =
•
10. L1: L1.SET =
displayed value > limit value)
•
10.L1: L1.L:LI =
•
10. L1: L1.HYS =
•
15. A.S.L =
•
16. A.S.H =
(leader zeros are not displayed)
(limit output is active when
(limit value 90.0 °C)
(hysteresis ±0.1 °C)
(analog output 4 mA ÷ 0.0 °C)
(analog output 20 mA ÷ 100.0 °C)
