NOTE: When an optional product with a lower IP rating than the transceiver is attached,
the transceiver meets the lower IP rating of the optional product.
• CT-M500 external interface box
To connect the transceiver via wireless LAN to use the NMEA 2000 interface, the Hailer
function, the RX Hailer function and the Horn function.
• RS-M500 remote control software
Android/iOS application that is used to remotely control the transceiver through WLAN.
Up to 3 mobile devices can be used as a wireless microphone or remote controller.
Intercom function between your mobile device and the transceiver is also available.
• HM-229B/HM-229W commandmic
*Not usable for the USA Version.
External microphone-type controller without [DISTRESS] key.
External microphone-type controller. Provides optional intercom operation 6 meters
microphone cable and mounting base included.

• HM-195GB/HM-195GW commandmic
External microphone-type controller. Provides optional intercom operation 6 meters
microphone cable and mounting base included.

• HM-205RB speaker microphone
Equipped with [▲]/[▼] (channel up/down), [H/L], [16/C] and [PTT] keys, a speaker and
a microphone.
• OPC-1541 microphone extension cable
6 meters (20 feet) microphone extension cable for optional HM-195 or HM-229. Up to 2
OPC-1541 can be connected. Usable length is 18 meters (60 feet) maximum.
• OPC-1000 microphone extension cable
6 meters (20 feet) microphone extension cable for HM-205RB.
• SP-37 horn speaker
The external horn speaker. Connect with the AF Out leads for the external speaker.
L To use the Hailer function or the Horn function, connect to the CT-M500.
L SP-37 has not been tested and Icom does not guarantee its waterproofness.
