D Command microphone Menu screen items
These items are displayed only on the Command microphone screen. Use the command
microphone keys to make the settings.
Display Contrast
[MENU] > Settings > Configuration > Display Contrast
Adjusts the contrast of the Command microphone's display in 8 steps. (Only in the Day
Mode)
Soft key/Dial assignment
[MENU] > Settings > Configuration > Key Assignment > Soft key
[MENU] > Settings > Configuration > Key Assignment > Dial
• Softkeys assignment
You can assign a desired function to a softkey. The assigned function can be used when
its key icon is displayed on the Command microphone screen.
• Dial assignment
You can assign the audio volume (Volume), squelch (SQL), channel selection (Channel),
and the Command microphone backlight level (Backlight) to any one of 4 sequential
positions on the Dial. Pushing Dial 1 to 4 times sequentially selects the desired function,
and rotating Dial adjusts the level, or selects a value or number.
Example: Dial assignment
1.
Open the "Dial" screen.
2.
Select the dial's position, then push [ENT].
3.
Select the item to assign, then push [ENT].
COMMANDMIC Speaker
[MENU] > Settings > Configuration > COMMANDMIC SP:
Select the speaker to use when the Command microphone is connected to the transceiver.
Internal Speaker: The audio is heard from the transceiver's internal speaker.
External Speaker: The audio is heard from the Command microphone's external speaker.
NOTE: Regardless of this setting, the speaker of the microphone supplied with the
transceiver is ON.
