MENU SCREEN
D Settings
• Radio
[MENU] > Settings > Radio
FAV on MIC
Turn the FAV on MIC function ON or OFF.
ON:
Pushing [▲] or [▼] on the supplied
microphone scrolls up and down
through only the Favorite channels.
OFF:
Pushing [▲] or [▼] on the supplied
microphone scrolls up and down
through all channels.
Channel Display
You can select the number of digits to
display the channel number.
L This setting may not be usable, depending
on the transceiver version or presetting.
3 digits: The channel number is displayed
in 3 digits, such as "01A."
4 digits: The channel number is displayed
in 4 digits, such as "1001."
LO/DX
Push to turn the Attenuator function ON or
OFF.
Local:
The Attenuator function is ON.
Distance: The Attenuator function is OFF.
• NMEA
[MENU] > Settings > NMEA
NMEA 0183
Select the data transfer speed for each port
to receive data from external devices.
4800 bps:
Select to receive position data
from an external GPS receiver.
38400 bps: Select to receive AIS data from
an external AIS transponder.

NMEA 2000
NMEA 2000 is a communication standard
used to connect various marine devices
and display units in the vessel.
The transceiver can easily connect to a
NMEA 2000 network with its plug-and-play
functionality, and display the information
provided from the devices on the network.
Select the sensors in NMEA 2000 network
which sends data to the transceiver.
L See the next page for the compatible PGN
list.
1.
Open the "NMEA 2000" screen.
2.
Select the type of data from the menu
screen and push [ENT] or [CH/ENT].
3.
The transceiver starts searching the
devices connected to NMEA 2000
network.
L Push Stop Search to stop searching
devices and display the device list.
4.
The list of connected device is
displayed.
5.
Select the device to send the data to
the transceiver, and push [ENT] or
[CH/ENT].
• Device name: The selected device is
used.
• Auto:
The fi rst device that
sends the data to the
transceiver or the device
that sends a higher
priority data is used.
• Not used:
No NMEA 2000 device is
used.
L Push INFO to display the detail of
device.
L If another device sends a higher
priority data to the transceiver after
selecting "Auto," the device to be used
will switch to that one. (Except for the
AIS data)
L In the "Auto" item, the last connected
device information is not saved.
L If the transceiver is connected to both
NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 devices,
the NMEA 2000 device has priority.
Select "Not Used" if you want to use
NMEA 0183 devices.
