CallPilot T1 troubleshooting
Begin CallPilot T1 troubleshooting at the demarcation point (that is, at the
DSX-1 cross-connect). The DSX-1 provides the facility for passive
monitoring of T1 signals in both directions by means of monitor jacks. The
DSX-1 allows bantam (mini-310) cross-connect cables to be used to
establish loopbacks in either or both directions. This meets the required
objective of a capability for T1 loopback as demanded by GNTS. The
DSX-1 also facilitates the insertion of test equipment again with bantam
cross-connect cables.
