Installing the system

Option 11C Compact
This chapter describes how to install a Meridian 1 Option 11C Compact
system, with or without expansion cabinets.
Make sure that an equipment layout plan and card slot layout plan have been
created and are available, and that site requirements, as described in
3 — System and site requirements" on page 19
Follow the steps in Procedure 1 on page 73 to install the new Meridian 1
Option 11C Compact system. Complete each step as described before
proceeding with the next step. Check off the box located in the left margin
next to each step as it is completed.
References are made to other chapters in this guide in order to provide
additional information.
Procedure 1
New system installation
1 Locate the carton containing the main cabinet and, if provided,
the expansion cabinet.
2 Mount the cabinets as described in
cabinets" on page
Make sure that they are mounted according to the equipment layout
plan.
