Chapter 7– Preparing for installation

Tools checklist

Option 11C Compact
Before proceeding with the installation, obtain all the tools necessary to
install the Meridian 1 Option 11C Compact.
Check the site requirements. Make sure that all the equipment has been
received, and that equipment layout and card slot assignment plans have been
prepared.
The following is a list of tools needed to install the system components:
a variety of screwdrivers
a tape measure
a level
pliers such as side cutters and longnose pliers
an ECOS 1023 POW-R-MATE or similar type test meter
appropriate cable terminating tools
a drill for drilling lead holes for screws
