Symptom:

Disabled card indicated by OVD message

An overload (OVD) message indicates a card disabled. All terminal
connections on the card are disabled.
Test the card by entering:
LD 30
TEST
If the card tests "OK" the problem has cleared. If an "OVD" message appears
after a few minutes, use this procedure.
Look up all system messages in the Option 11C Compact software guide and
follow the instructions given. If the fault does not clear, use this procedure.
Manual Continuity Tests can be used to isolate Network and Peripheral
Equipment faults. See "LD 30" in the Option 11C Compact software guide
for details on performing the tests.
Constantly observe and look up system messages as you perform this
procedure.
You may need to replace some of the following equipment:
Peripheral Equipment (PE) circuit card
Cabinet
A0632902 Fiber Optic cable
NTMW01 SSC card
NTDK21 or NTDK81 Software Daughter Board
NTDK22 Fiber Daughter Board
NTMW10 Fbr Rcvr (Fiber Receiver) card
Option 11C Compact
