4.4.2
Hoist Selection
Carefully read and understand these instructions before selecting the
hoist to be used. Selecting the wrong hoist can result in overloading of the
crane risking machine breakage or tipping that could result in serious injury
or death. Make sure that the hoist displayed in the normal mode screen
matches the current configuration of the machine.
M = Main Hoist
A = Auxiliary Hoist
1 = Whip 1
2 = Whip 2
In some software versions the hoist selection must be made by using the
Duty button (7). In that case, please note that the direct selection is not
possible using the procedure described here.
The number of Parts of line, Boom selection and Crane configuration are
associated with each hoist. Therefore, when changing to a different hoist all
of the associated settings for that hoist will be automatically changed.
Telescopic Cranes Pressure Sensing
The hoist/scroll up button allows the operator to select
the hoist used. The operator can see the hoist selected
on the i3500 screen near the boom base of the crane
drawing (see fig. below).
To change the Hoist selection:
1) Press Hoist/scroll up ( 2) to automatically change
for the next available hoist.
