Installing a Drainpipe
(1) Drainpipe connector: BSPT 1/2-inch, delivered with the smart cooling product
(2) Rigid pipe conversion adapter: BSPP 1/2-inch inner screw thread to rigid pipe connector,
engineering procurement
(3) Rigid pipe: made of PP-R or other material, engineering procurement
(4) Pagoda conversion adapter: BSPP 1/2-inch inner screw thread to pagoda connector,
engineering procurement
(5) Hose clamp, engineering procurement
(6) Hose: made of EPDM or other material, engineering procurement
• In upward pipe routing, install the check valve, engineering hose, and drainpipe connector by
performing steps 1–3. In downward pipe routing, install the drainpipe connector by
performing step 3.
• The drainpipe inside the indoor unit should be wrapped with the thermal insulation pipe in
accessories.
•
The drainpipes must have gradients (> 1:50), and stagnant water is not allowed.
