PTY Search (Program Type Search)
Programs can be searched by type, such as music, speeches,
etc.
When the source is on DAB, press the [PTY] button to light
the PTY pictogram.
Press the [UP] or [DOWN] button to navigate between
items.
Press the [MODE] button to move to the next layer of
menus.
Press the [PTY] button to move to the previous layer of
menus.
If an item was selected the previous time, that item
becomes the default.
If there are no PTY search results or corresponding PTY in
the DAB list, then it goes to a state with PTY ALL selected. In
such case, the PTY pictogram turns off.
Shortcut Function
Pressing a [PRESET] button (1 to 6) when the MUSIC or
SPEECH type is selected makes it possible to greatly reduce
the number of presses of the [UP] and [DOWN] buttons.
