STARTER PULLEY/ CLUTCH / IGNITION COIL / FLYWHEEL

4. HHT35S STARTER PULLEY

a. DISASSEMBLY & REASSEMBLY
1. Loosen the 5 mm top cover bolt, then remove the cover.
2. Remove the recoil starter
3. Remove the fuel tank
4. Remove the frame pipe assembly
5. Remove the clutch housing assembly
6. Remove the top cover
7. Remove the ignition coil
RECOIL STARTER PULLEY
DISASSEMBLY:
• Remove the ignition coil.
• Remove the fan cover.
• Holding the flywheel with the strap wrench, remove the recoil
starter pulley with a driver or equivalent tool.
• Take care not to damage the fan.
NOTICE
To avoid flywheel fan blade damage, position the strap
wrench fulcrum at the flywheel magnetic parts.
REASSEMBLY:
Hold the recoil starter pulley with a driver or
equivalent and tighten the flywheel to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 6.4 N•m (0.65 kg•m, 57 in•lb)
