CLUTCH ASSEMBLY
DISASSEMBLY
Hold the flywheel with a commercially available strap wrench, and remove the
8 mm clutch bolts, clutch washers, and clutch assembly.
NOTICE
To avoid flywheel fan blade damage, position the strap wrench fulcrum at the
flywheel magnetic parts.
REASSEMBLY
1. Install the clutch assembly so that the "R" marks are visible, as shown.
2. Be sure to set the clutch washer between the clutch assembly and the
flywheel.
3. Hold the flywheel with a commercially available strap wrench, and
tighten the 8 mm clutch bolt to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 15.2 N•m (1.55 kg•m, 11.2 ft•lb)
FLYWHEEL
DISASSEMBLY
1. Hold the flywheel with a commercially available strap wrench, and
remove the 8 mm flange nut from the flywheel.
NOTICE
To avoid flywheel fan blade damage, position the strap wrench fulcrum
at the flywheel magnetic parts.
2. Remove the flywheel using a commercially available flywheel
puller.
NOTICE
To avoid damaging the flywheel, do not remove the flywheel by tapping
it with a hammer.
