INSTALLATION
Installation is done in the reverse order of removal.
1. Insert the frame pipe cap into the fan cover assembly. Make
sure the cap is seated at the bottom of the fan cover.
2. Install the tolerance ring into the fan cover assembly with the
gap located opposite the clamping bolt, and the ring seated
against the lip in the fan cover.
3. Make sure the drive cable and bushing are not damaged.
Apply grease on the entire cable as you install the drive cable
into the frame pipe bushing.
4. Align the drive cable male square end with the clutch outer
female square end and install the frame pipe assembly.
5. Align the fan cover 5 mm hole with the frame pipe assembly
hole. Install and tighten the 5 x 16 mm tapping screw to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 3 N•m (26 in-lb)
6. After tightening the 5 x 16 mm tapping screw, tighten the
5 x 15 mm socket bolt to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 7 N•m (61 in-lb)
