2. HHT35S FRAME PIPE ASSEMBLY

CAUTION
Remove the spark plug cap, and install the
blade cover over the blade cutter before
removal/installation of the frame pipe assembly.
REMOVAL
1. Remove the air cleaner cover.
2. Disconnect the engine switch connector.
3. Loosen the throttle cable lock nuts, and disconnect the throttle
cable from the swivel.
4. Loosen the 6 x 20 mm socket bolt, and remove the
5 x 10 mm pan screw.
5. Remove the frame pipe assembly from the engine mounting
bracket.
INSTALLATION
Installation is the reverse order of removal. Note the following:
1. Check to see that the drive shaft spline is not damaged, and
apply grease to the spline.
2. Align the drive cable spline and the clutch outer spline and
install.
3. Align the 5 x 10 mm screw washer installation hole in the
engine mounting bracket with the hole in the frame pipe
assembly, and tighten the 5 x 10 mm pan screw to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 4.2 N•m (0.42 kg•m, 37 in•lb)
4. After tightening the screw washer, tighten the 6 x 30 mm
socket bolt to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 6.1 N•m (0.62 kg•m, 54 in•lb)
