CUTTING ATTACHMENT / GEAR CASE
CUTTING LINE HEAD REMOVAL
Move the ignition switch to the STOP position, and disconnect the
spark plug cap from the spark plug.
Wear protective gloves during this procedure.
1. Align the gear case hole with the groove in the cover plate/
spacer A as shown,
2. Insert the tip of a commercially-available 4 mm hex wrench, or
equivalent, into the gear case hole.
3. Hold the hex tool and turn the cutting-line head in the loosen
direction by hand.
CUTTING LINE HEAD INSTALLATION
Hold the hex tool and turn the cutting-line head in the tighten
direction securely by hand.
