Connecting the Power
Supply
Connect the separate power supply unit to the 7400B Plus as
follows:
Insert the output connector of the power supply into the

connector on the rear panel of the 7400B Plus labeled
''POWER.''
Caution: Be sure that the side of the power supply cable
connector labeled ''TOP'' is facing upward before
inserting the connector.
Insert the AC connector of the power supply unit into an

appropriate AC outlet.
Note: Since the 7400B Plus does not have a power on/off
switch, the unit will power on as soon as the power
supply is connected to an active AC line.
Caution: Make certain that the AC outlet to which you
connect the power supply is unswitched (for
example, not controlled by a wall switch or light
dimmer).
