Configuring the Software
Terra Nova is a data communications software package produced
by AT&T.
The 7400B Plus will be setup automatically by modifying the
existing Hayes.dia file in the Terra Nova Software. This procedure is
explained is the next section.
Note: If you chose the option of loading the TERRA NOVA menu
system when booting up your machine, press "F10" to exit back to
DOS.
Change to the directory where the TERRA NOVA software

is installed. (The installation default directory is Network.)
By using your system editor (vi, edlin, norton editor, etc),

edit the "DEV" file to include the word "7400B" on a separate
line by itself.
Change to the TERRA NOVA sub directory, "DEVICE."

Copy the "HAYES.DIA file over to a new file. Call the new file

"7400B.DIA."
By using the system editor, edit the new file 7400B.dia to

include the following information shown in the figure below.
