6.9 Disconnecting the oxygen supply

1. Close the oxygen cylinder valve.
2. Press and hold the On/Off button
switch the device off.
3. Disconnect the oxygen inlet tube from the device.
4. If necessary: Replace the empty oxygen cylinder.
The device has been disconnected from the oxygen supply.
1. Disconnect the breathing circuit from the ventilation mask or
tracheal tube.
2. Disconnect the breathing circuit from the device.
3. If necessary: Change the hygiene filter.
4. Hygienically reprocess the device and accessories
(see "8 Hygienic reprocessing", page
5. If necessary: Replace the ventilation mask or tracheal tube.
6. If necessary: Replace the disposable breathing circuit.
7. If necessary: Stow the accessories on the portable system.
8. If necessary: Place the device and accessories in storage
(see "12 Storage", page
