4.3 Removing LIFE-BASE III/3 NG out of the
protective bag
4.4 Oxygen supply
Important note!
1. Fully open the magnetic closure/hook and loop
fastener of the protective bag.
2. Put down the portable system.
3. Draw the bag over the portable system.
4. Remove the portable system from the protective
bag.
To insert the portable system into the protective bag,
please proceed in the reverse order.
First wash your hands thoroughly before starting to
work on the oxygen supply. Products containing
hydrocarbons (e.g. oils, greases, alcohols, hand
creams, sticking plasters) can cause explosive
reactions if they come into contact with high-
pressure oxygen.
Never use spanners or similar tools to tighten or
loosen the screw connections.
Removal of empty bottle
1. Close the valve of the oxygen bottle.
2. Depressurise the ventilator by switching on one
of the pieces of equipment.
3. Unscrew pressure reducer.
4. Open bottle retaining clamps. If necessary,
unhook the belt from its fastening.
5. For LIFE-BASE III with bag please open the lateral
flap of the protective bag.
