A.5 Certifications
A.5.1 CE certification
The JM-3000 supply unit meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EU and the prod-
uct standard EN 61800-5-1.
The JM-3000 supply unit thus meets the requirements for installation in a machine or plant as defined by
the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EU.
The supply unit is CE marked accordingly.
The CE symbol on the nameplate indicates conformity with the above directives.
A.5.2 UL certification
JM-3000 power supply units are UL certified. For more information on UL61800-5-1 certification of the JM-
3000 power supply unit, refer to the document "UL-Certification", article No: 60885158.
A.5.3 Retroactive grid load due to harmonics
(Note on EN 61000-3-2:2006)
The devices of the JM-3000 system are "professional devices" within the meaning of EN 61000, so that
they fall within the scope of the standard at a rated connected load of ≤1kW (or ≤ 16 A per mains phase).
If the supply unit ≤1kW is directly connected to the public low-voltage grid, either measures must be taken
to comply with the standard or the responsible electricity company must issue a connection permit. If our
drive units are used as a component in your machine/plant, you must check if the standard applies to the
complete machine/plant.
