Operation in special networks
If you intend to operate the JM-3000 in networks other than TN or TT, please contact us. Your sales
representative or application engineer at Jetter AG will be pleased to provide you with information on the
boundary conditions that must be met (e.g. compliance with the EMC Directive, effects on CE and the
safety functions, etc.).
NOTICE
3.7.1
TN and TT networks
Operation of the supply unit in TN and TT networks is only permitted
ƒ at phase voltages of 3 x 230 V, 3 x 400 V and 3 x 480 V
− if the star point of the supply network is grounded, and
− if the supply network conforms to maximum overvoltage category III as per EN 61800-5-1 with a
system voltage (phase conductor → star point) of 277 V maximum.
ƒ at phase voltages of 3 x 400 V AC and 3 x 480 V AC
− if the star point of the supply network is grounded, and
− if the supply network conforms to maximum overvoltage category III as per EN 61800-5-1 with a
system voltage (phase conductor → star point) of 277 V maximum.
Operation is NOT allowed
− at a supply voltage of 1 x 230 V or at higher single-phase mains voltages
3.7.2
IT networks
Operation in IT networks is possible
ƒ at a mains voltage of 3 x 230 V
ƒ if compliance with EMC Directive 2014/30/EU is ensured by the operator!

Operation is NOT allowed
ƒ at a supply voltage of 3 x 400 V or 3 x 480 V

FAILURE TO MEET THE OPERATING CONDITIONS COULD RE-
SULT IN DAMAGE TO THE DEVICE
ƒ Follow all conditions specified for the operation of the devices on
different mains systems.
ƒ In this operating mode, the declaration of conformity, CE certificate
and all safety-related approvals are void.
