Installation

3.11 Busbar connection of the supply voltages

The power supply unit supplies the power to the servo amplifier separately for the control section and the
DC link. The control unit receives its 24 V supply voltage via the upper busbar (+24 V DC and GND, see
see Fig. Fig. 3.12) from the switch-mode power supply integrated into the supply unit. The DC link supply
comes from an unregulated DC link and is fed to the servo amplifiers via the lower busbar (DC Link +/-).

Make sure that the JM-3000 power supply unit is
arranged in a row with the JM-3000 servo ampli-
fiers.
Use the supplied busbar elements to feed power to

the control system of the servo amplifiers. Connect
all 24 V connectors to each other and all GND
connectors to each other.
Use the supplied busbar elements for the DC link

supply of the servo amplifiers. Connect all DC
Link+ terminals to each other and all DC Link- ter-
minals to each other.

ƒ Use the supplied connecting elements (busbars) for the electrical
coupling of the devices.
ƒ Make sure that all connections have good contact and are screwed
tight (2.1 Nm) so that they cannot come loose by themselves.
