10.8 ECO mode

About Standby ECO
When the ECO mode is enabled, the projector will automatically go to ECO standby mode after a time-out
(default 15 minutes). All electronics (including fans, pumps, ...) go down except for a very small wake-up
controller. See section dedicated to the Power Mode transitions for further details.
Until recently, it was not possible to navigate through the on-screen display (OSD) of the projector
while in Ready mode. This feature has been implemented from software version 1.7 onward.
How to enable/disable the ECO mode
1.
In the main menu, select System Settings.
2.
In the System Settings menu, choose to either enable or disable ECO mode by using the ECO mode
slider. While ECO mode is available, the slider is colored blue.

10.9 Power settings

Why change the power saving features?
As a power-saving feature, the projector will automatically go to standby mode after 15 minutes. While in
standby mode, it is no longer possible to use the OSD for anything other than a status overview.
If you want to be able to fully access the projector for a longer period of time, or want to reduce the time the
projector remains idle, it is best to change the power settings to your own personal preferences.
You can also fully disable these power-saving features all together, ensuring that all power state transitions
have to be done manually, or via remote commands (e.g. by using DMX). See
GUI – System Settings
"ECO mode", page
