Wiring for Module Fault Relay

If the communications module detects a fault in its operation, it generates a fault output.
This output can be used to trigger a supervised zone in the control panel.
The communications module fault output can be programmed for fail-safe mode (see the
prompt "FLT REL ON Y/N"). In this mode, the fault output from the communications
module is energized to ground unless a fault occurs.
To sense a module's fault at the control panel, make connections as shown in Figure 2-8,
using the proper EOL resistor required by the control panel.
NOTE: A 24 hour supervisory zone may be assigned on the control panel to monitor any
communications module faults.
