Windows 2000
This information applies to Windows 2000. Go to the DPT web site
(http://www.dpt.com) or contact DPT Technical Support to obtain the
Windows 2000 software and driver package for SmartRAID VI
controllers.
The Windows 2000 package is contained in two ZIP files. Extract the
contents of each file to separate floppy disks. The files from DISK1.ZIP
are required for the driver installation procedures. The files from
DISK2.ZIP are required only when you install the DPT Storage Manager
software.
The following sections describe procedures for installing DPT
SmartRAID VI controllers under Windows 2000. Three installation
scenarios are described:

Upgrading Windows NT to Windows 2000
•
Windows 2000 on a New System
•
Adding SmartRAID VI to an Existing Windows 2000 System
The DPT driver for Windows 2000 does not include a digital
NOTE
signature. You may receive one or more warning messages
about this condition. Bypass the warnings and continue with
the installation. The driver will function normally when the
upgrade or install is complete.
