2. Copier-specific Adjustments

2.1

To Make Copy Suitable for the Original

 Explanation
Selecting an appropriate mode matching to images on the original allows printing them in the best
suitable condition.
 Procedures
Both the service technician and the user can perform steps (1) and (2).
(1) Select the color mode.
Switch the color mode in the [Basic] tab and change the settings in the [Image] tab to make them
suited to the color of the original.
Color mode
Automatically judges the type of each
color on originals. Full-color originals are
Auto Color
copied in the full color mode and black-
and-white originals are copied in the
black mode.
Originals are copied in the full color
Full color
mode.
Black
Originals are copied in the black mode.
Use this to copy originals in a single
Mono Color *2
color except black.
Twincolor Copy *3
The black part and the parts other than
(Twincolor
black in the originals are copied in 2
Selectable)
specified colors.
The red part in the originals is copied in
Twincolor Copy *3
red and the parts other than red are
(Red & Black)
copied in black and white.
*1: These modes bring a good effect if the number of colors used in the originals is small or black is
used in most parts of the originals.
*2: Press [Mono Color] in the image menu of the touch panel.
*3: Press [Twincolor Copy] in the image menu of the touch panel.
