• In the PS printer driver, you can select the resolution for printing each image type. Select this in
"Resolution" in the "Basic" tab from "Setting".
• The features for each resolution are as below.
1200 dpi: Originals containing lots of thin lines and text (CAD drawing, etc.) and images
containing lots of lines (graphs, etc.)
600 dpi: Originals in which priority is to be given to the color or gradation when printing
(photographs, design drawings, etc.)

Features
Text, photographs and graphics are
printed clearly in a balanced manner.
Priority is given to the reproducibility of
the low/middle density for photographs
and gradation. Printing can be made in
a similar color tone to a monitor with
sRGB specified.
Priority is given to the reproducibility of
vivid colors. The color tone does not
match that on the monitor, because
printing is performed in highly vivid
colors.
Priority is given to the reproducibility of
thin lines. The color tone is similar to
that for "General"; however, smudges
on the reproduction of black will be
suppressed more than that for
"General".
Printing is performed in the Advanced
mode.
