Note regarding HyperTerminal/FUNterm:

When the system is correctly setup a '?' from HyperTerminal gives a response of
'load' 'displacement', e.g. 0.000,3.8632.
If the gauge is not connected to the MultiTest-d (or the gauge is not powered up) and
you send a '?', you will receive '?1' as the response.
