2.1 Wall mounting of control unit

The control unit must be installed in a
dry, frost proof area – preferably indo-
ors where any alarm signal from the
control unit can be heard. The control
unit should not receive direct sunlight.
The control unit cover does not need to be
opened in order to mount it on the wall. Two
level 6 mm diameter holes should be drilled
exactly 254 mm (center to center) from one
another. The two 4.5mm x 35mm (Tx20)
should be screwed far enough into the wall
that back side of the control unit will hang on
the screws flush with the wall. Make sure to
leave enough space on the right side of the
control unit that the control unit's cover can
be fully opened. The two fastening screws ,
two rawlplugs as well as a drilling template
are included with the control unit.

2.2 Cable connections

2.2.1 Pump and pump probe

The optical probe and pump cable for the
Ecolift should be laid through a conduit
pipe. If required, also lay the cables for the
remote alarm as well as the potential free
contact cable. Now take the pump cable
connection (grey in color – Illustration 1)
and the optical probe connection (white in
color – Illustration 2) and insert them into
their proper receptacle and screw the
locking nuts finger tight (approx. 3 Nm tor-
que for the pump connection and 1 Nm for
the optical probe connection).
