Advice
The pump's optical sensor cable is
automatically checked every 2 se-
conds
Attention: check backwater flap ope-
ration lever! In the case that the mo-
torized backwater flap cannot fully
close, the Ecolift will perform 3 flap
closure attempts in an effort to dislod-
ge any obstruction that may be pre-
venting the flap from fully closing. If
any of these 3 attempts are succes-
sful, then the Ecolift will return to nor-
mal operation and no alarm warnings
will sound. If these 3 attempts are not
successful then an alarm will sound –
this alarm can be acknowledged by
pressing the correct button on the
control unit. Allowing wastewater to
drain through the Ecolift may also help
dislodge any obstruction. Pressing
the flap closure button can test to see
if the flap can now fully close. In the
case that the obstruction has not been
cleared then the alarm will activate
again and the object will need to be re-
moved as discussed below.
