6.1 Potential Free Contact

The KESSEL Ecolift control unit can be
equipped with a potential free contact.
This accessory (Article Number 80072) can
be installed inside the Ecolift's control unit.
The contact activates during backwater as
well as when any warning or error alarm
activates. Attention: the potential free
contact can handle a power connection up
to 42V DC / 0.5 Amps.

6.2 Self Diagnosis System (SDS)

Every 4 weeks the Ecolift will automatical-
ly conduct a self diagnosis test where all
functions of the Ecolift will be tested in-
cluding a 2 second start up of the pump.
Any malfunctions which are detected du-

6.3 Power Outage

The Ecolift's control unit will signal a
power outage by an audible alarm as well
as a visual LED alarm. This notification will
continue until the two 9-volt batteries have
lost all power.
6.4 Checking the battery back-up
power
The control unit constantly checks the
back-up battery power. In the case that the
total available power of the back-up bat-
teries falls below 13.5 volts, this will be in-
dicated on the control unit by the blinking
of the Power-LED and Alarm-LED. If the
batteries need to be replaced, first dis-
connect the control unit from its mains
power source and replace both batteries.
Please dispose of the old batteries pro-
perly!
